Ayoola Sunday Ayodele is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry and a Graduate Research Assistant at Southern Methodist University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2015 and later obtained his Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Ibadan in 2019, in Nigeria. His current research focuses on the activation and reduction of nitrogen oxo-anions at biologically relevant metal centers, particularly nickel sites.
