Esther Oluwafisayomi Mosebolatan is a second-year Ph.D. student in Chemistry at Southern Methodist University, where she serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Ghosh Lab under the supervision of Professor Ghosh Pokhraj. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo Universityin 2023. Born in Nigeria, her academic journey has been driven by a strong passion for inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry.

Her current research focuses on inorganic synthesis and nitric oxide/hydrogen sulfide (NO/H₂S) chemistry. She has experience in synthesis, characterization, and spectroscopic analysis of ligands and transition metal complexes, alongside computational studies involving Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations for compound optimization and electronic structure analysis. Her work particularly explores the reduction of nitric oxide (NO), a vital biological signaling molecule, to nitroxyl (HNO) and nitrous oxide (N2O), an essential stage in the enzymatic denitrification process. Beyond the laboratory, Esther enjoys reading personal development books and designing aesthetically appealing websites through coding. She is also a devoted Christian, and she is committed to advancing innovative chemical research while contributing meaningfully to scientific education and mentorship.
